Located on the banks of the Talek River in the world famous Masai Mara game reserve. Accommodation: 65 units comprising of: 38 tents with twin beds and private balcony overlooking the Talek River and Mara game reserve. 22 cabins with double and single bed. 5 cabins with twin beds. Keekorok Lodge
Keekorok Lodge lies at the southern end of the Masai Mara Game Reserve near the border of the Serengeti in Tanzania. Accommodation is in bungalows, single storey blocks and in comfortably shaded chalets. The liberal use of cedar, pink and grey Sand River stone and other indigenous building materials offset the green lawns and colorful bougainvillea. Mara Simba LodgeThis lodge lies on the Talek River on the edge of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The grounds extend almost a kilometer along the river with the river bank left in its virgin state while further back lush, landscaped gardens of indigenous plants and trees attract colorful birds and butterflies. The 36 guest rooms, arranged in clusters of six in each natural wood and stone Banda, comprise 4 double, 8 triple and 24 twin rooms all with ensuite shower and toilet. Each spacious room, which can easily accommodate an extra bed, opens onto its own private verandah with uninterrupted views across the river. Siana Springs Intrepids Tented Camp
Set on the southern side of the Masai Mara, not far from the Tanzanian border and the famous Serengeti, Siana Springs borders the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, one of the greatest wilderness areas in the world. Built on the Siana Conservancy belonging to the local Purko Masai, the tented camp takes its name from the conservancy, for Siana in Maa means ‘plentiful’ and Siana Springs has the largest number of water springs in the Mara ecosystem.
